Where am I

Monday 20 October 2014

It seems a long time since my first years were measuring the diameter of lumps of Plasticine and Balder was wearing shorts. Since then they have all learnt how to use LoggerPro like pros and are excelling at excel. There is an awful lot to learn but once you get over the initial hurdle(s) it's all plain sailing. With relation to the syllabus we are just starting Newton's second law so this week will be doing Newton's Second Law and Masses and pulley. These are both verification of Newton's 2nd type experiments so I will probably get my students to do one or the other but not both. At the beginning of term I set out My practical programme. I seem to be progressing a little faster so have had to modify my original plan and will probably finish thermal physics before Christmas.
