Thermo now dynamic

Tuesday 6 January 2015

I've just finished preparing a set of instructions so that my first year classes can learn about thermodynamics in a more interactive way. The idea is that they build up their own GeoGebra PV curves to simulate an ideal gas undergoing isochoric, isobaric, isothermal and adiabatic changes. This could be done with a ready made simulation but plotting the lines from the equations should lead to a better understanding of both thermodynamics and GeoGebra, at least that's the theory.
