Add an exponentially changing PD across the capacitor to my last simulation and you see how the charge varies with time as the capacitor charges.

I couldn't be bothered to add the circuit this time. Actually I realised that on the previous simulation the capacitor was in the middle of the graph so re redrew the whole thing with the capacitor to the left of the graph. Not far enough :-(
