The IB says that students must use graph plotting software at least once in the two year course but that is the absolute minimum. Using something like Loggerpro to plot graphs is not a skill I would expect students to be able to pick up by themselves so I spend some time teaching my students how to do it, this is done as part of the second part of the intro to practical work "mini course".
