Project pages on a whiteboard

Friday 18 September 2015

Inthinking website content is often surrounded by the navigation menu and the title banner. Very useful when searching for a page but not great in a lesson.

If you want to project Inthinking Biology content in a lesson and remove all the distractions from the screen it is easy to do. You just need to know how.

The page can be set so it displays each element in a full screen. It takes 2 seconds, why not try it out.

Here is a short Video to show how.
There are short written instruction below.

If you like keyboard shortcuts

(works in Firefox, Chrome and Internet explorer)

  1. Hold down the [Ctrl] key
  2. Press the [+] key 5 times.
  3. Press F11 to go to "full screen" on the browser
  4. Scroll down the page.
  • Press [Ctrl] and [0] to return to 100%
  • Press F11 to toggle back from full screen view.

If you prefer the bowser settings menu

  1. Open the browser setting menu
  2. Find "Zoom"
  3. Change the settings to 170%
  4. Scroll down the page.

Techy Note:

These settings may be slightly different depending on your browser, screen size and resolution but it won't take long to work out the zoom % which works best for your lab.
