This activity illustrates how two experts might disagree over the structure of a molecule and an analysis of the usefulness of 2D diagrams of 3D chemicals in Biology (NoS). Some scientists draw Ribose with the -OH and -H groups in different positions in a 2D diagram. Are they wrong? How is it possible that there can be disagreement?
