This week, I’ve published a 2^nd Individual Oral exemplar from the May 2021 examinations.  You can find it here (and the 1^st one is linked here).  While the first one was a clear 7, scoring in the highest markband for each criterion, this one just scrapes a 7.  When you listen to it, you’ll understand why.  The content, analysis, organization and interpretation are all superb, but it lacks style.  Simply put, he just speaks too fast.  And that’s okay.  Once you get accustomed to listening to it – as an examiner or moderator would do so – you’ll find it is fantastic in so many ways.   

You now have two really strong Individual Orals to use with your students from the last exam session.  Over the course of the rest of the calendar year, I will be publishing more IOs to help you and your students in this assessment task (around four in total from the last exam cycle).  And please reach out if you have any questions or need something else from us!
