Visualising ideas

I believe that thinking visually is a vital part of thinking in general. It"s there in everyday English - "Look," we say, "If you look at it from my perspective ..." "Oh, I see - now I see what you mean!" "To look" means "to think", and "to see" means "to understand". The pop-psychology view (!) of things is that the right-hand side of the brain, specialised in handling vision, is better at grasping the overall pattern...
