Sustainable Tourism and Ecotourism
This page first asks students to explore the meaning of sustainable tourism as well as its difficulty to define. Students can then work with a series of examples and they graph its sustainability based on the UN and WTO 12 aims profile. Additional resources are provided. Students then examine the characteristics and role of ecotourism through several resources, including models, videos and place examples.
