This site is designed to help you succeed in your History IB examination.

Your teacher will direct you to pages with relevant content and activities for each of the topics that you are studying.

In addition, the pages below will help you to find out more about IB History and also introduce you to the skills needed to be a successful IB History student.

As an IB history student, you will have the opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge of different aspects of history from different regions of the world and across different time periods.

This section look at the key skills that you need as a starting point for any historical investigation. This includes finding relevant information and how to effectively read and take notes.

Exam revision

At the end of your two year IB Diploma, you will have to demonstrate your skills in 3 hours 30 minutes of examinations if you are a Higher Level student or 1 hour 45 minutes if you are a SL student.
