The ideas is for students to create a toolbox of skills that they can access when appropriate.

Starting with the theme

Thinking Processes underpin every part of what we do... our job is to make that explicit

This page explores Thinking Processes as a discrete theme but also how it underpins all the other PPS themes. Taking an approach of a student creating a thinking process toolkit will support the student's development for their whole course but also prepares them for the reflective project as they embark on independent work. In PPS you can concentrate on modeling thinking processes and working through them in activities and discussion - this will give the students confidence to be able to take it from there and do this independently when the time calls for it.

The guide suggests certain topics and sub-topics that could be explored to support this theme.
