It is a strange thing that the Normal distribution can be used to model so many naturally occuring phenomena, but yet, to create a data set ourselves that has the same properties of a normal distribution is a real challenge. this activity invites you to play with a data set with 20 data items in a spreadsheet so that you create a given set of properties, ultimately leading to a normal distribution - good luck!
