Temper temper

Here's a cheap and cheerful way of doing datalogging for very little money. I got this USB temperature sensory from ebay for £1.99 (plus £4.99 postage to Norway from China). It comes with a CD of the proramme needed to record the data and the drivers required. Its called TEMPer1 and has a range from -40 to 120°C. The fastest sampling rate seems to be 1 sample per second which is a bit slow for some applications but usable. The software that comes on the CD has a graphing option but also saves the data as CSV so can be opened in excel then copied to LoggerPro. The probe is sensitive to 0.01°C but it seems to jump in steps of about 0.3°C.
