Here's the second. "Worst times"? What's he on about?

These students are pretty quick when it comes to writing for my blog.

Initially I was really confused when choosing a subject for my Extended Essay. Physics is not really the subject I am best at, but it sure is one of my most favorite. So I decided to give it a shot.
Living in Western Norway gave me an ideal topic for the EE, i.e. "Luminosity of the Northern Lights depending on the number of sunspots. I had a good beginning to my EE with the research and everything, but unfortunately I was not able to use real time data for my analysis. I relied upon various sources from around the globe over a longer period of time.
What was interesting about my EE I guess was learning as to how this beautiful phenomenon is caused and why and how it varies. I also got an in-depth knowledge of the geo magnetic storms, Earth's magnetic fields and how it affects the luminosity of the Auroras combined with the effect of the number of sun spots observed.
All in all it was quite a wonderful experience working on a Physics, or more of an astrophysics Extended Essay and it got even more interesting having Chris as the EE advisor.
Lastly, I can conclude everything by saying "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times."   ( mostly the best to be honest )
:)
