A 1kg ball is at the bottom of the 10m deep, round hole shown in the image.The ball is pushed out of the hole at constant speed by exerting a force in the horizontal direction.Lines of equipotential are lines joining points where the ball would have equal potential energy.Potential is defined as the work done per unit mass taking a small test mass from infinity to the point in question.
