No, there isn't. Since it is a requirement to be able to apply both a measure of central tendency and a measure of variance, it is not really possible to fulfill that requirement, so I do have my students do such replications.

Hi John,
I see that in your exemplar, footnotes have been used. Is this common place in your classes? Somewhere I was advised to use either APA or MLA citations and to only have in text referencing.

This is a rather old sample. The new IB publications are strongly advising students not to use footnotes. I would advise them against it.
