Hi John, may I ask how you arrived at these markbands? I'm quite new to this, was wondering if they're a little low compared to the old curriculum? E.g. 65% for a 7 for Paper 1.

Yes, they are based on the markbands for the last curriculum. They are scaled - that is, if the total marks for the paper has changed, I used the same percentages to determine the most likely number of marks. Since the markbands are not set until the first set of exams are sat, there is no other way to predict what the marks will be.
