Dear John, could methodology and ethics in CLOA be assessed with an ERQ of 22 marks or is it only likely to come as an SAQ?

John Crane 23 April 2018 - 04:45

Dear RWA

There is no difference between ERQs and SAQs. ALL questions may be asked as ERQs in the new curriculum.

Dear John,

One of my students used HM in CLOA for one research method answer. Would I award him any marks?

John Crane 26 May 2018 - 05:30

Dear Shilpa

It depends on if the focus of the response is on the biological aspects of the study or the cognitive aspects. If there is no mention of the cognitive aspects, e.g. the IQ testing, memory testing, mirror drawing.. then it would not get high marks.

Thank you John :)
