Helping stories

The following activity is something that I do with my students when we start the unit on helping behavior. There are two stories. First, the story of David Cash, a young man who watched as his best friend murdered a 7-year-old girl and failed to intervene. Second, there is the story of Wesley Autrey, an African American from New York who saved the life of a young, white art student who had fallen onto the subway tracks.
