Cable knit

Saturday 6 December 2014

As some of you will have gathered I can't resist a bargain so over the past year have been buying LabPro interfaces from Ebay. I now have 12 which means that I have a set that I can travel with so can take them to workshops. This will be particularly useful for the category 3 workshop on ICT that I have just written for the IB. Most of the interfaces were bought from the states which means they came with the wrong charger. Luckily I found some cheap alternatives (also on Ebay) but they had the wrong polarity. No problem since I found a converter. The charger plus converter cost about £3 each, another bargain. The LabPros fit nicely into a drawer but the chargers and USB cables are a bit of  mess. Anyone got any suggestions? I'm thinking of buying a couple of multi connection extension cables, cutting off the cable and screwing the sockets on the wall, probably cost more than the chargers.
