I used to think Capstone was a bit fussy but now I´m beginning to love it. It´s the datalogging software from PASCO which, combined with their range of wireless sensors, seals their position at the top of the market.

Here´s one of many neat tricks. Synchronised video and data collection. Here I am swinging a force sensor on the end of a string and recording video at the same time. I had to synch the video manually as it tended to lag behind the force measurement but being able to play back the motion and data collection in slo mo is great. I can see this opening up a whole load of possible student investigations.

To be fair, I should mention that video and data collection can also be synched in LoggerPro.
