Grading the whole portfolio (samples 3a, 3b and 3c) for the final criteria

Criterion F: Rubric requirements

This criterion assesses the extent to which the student meets the five rubric requirements for the complete portfolio.

Each of the commentaries are a maximum of 800 words.

Each article focuses on a different part section of the economics course.

Each commentary uses different sources and each source is appropriate for use as a written commentary .

Each article was published within 12 months before the writing of the commentary.

The student includes a portfolio cover sheet, three commentary cover sheets and includes the articles from which commentary was written.

Level descriptor

0 The work does not reach a standard described by the descriptors below.

1 Three rubric requirements have been completed satisfactorily.

2 Four rubric requirements have been completed satisfactorily.

3 All five rubric requirements have been completed satisfactorily.

Descriptor 3 - all five rubric requirements were met.  The total score for the candidate was 10+13+13+3=39 - a very strong portfolio.
