Kok ming LEE

Kokming Lee has twenty years of experience teaching Mathematics at various levels in the IB Diploma Programme. He has taught in India, Hong Kong, Japan in the past. He founded the Mathematics department in two schools. He is currently teaching in an IB World School in China.  Ming has been a moderator for IB Mathematics SL for many years. In recent years, he has been leading IB workshops on Mathematics. He has also contributed mathematics articles to various publications in the past.

Ming has a double major from Berea College and an MA from Duke University. He also has a double distinction in his Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Secondary Mathematics) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Peter Morris

Peter has 40 years mathematics teaching experience in Australia, Sweden, India and Spain. He helped establish the IB MYP and Diploma programme at schools in Stockholm and Gurgaon (near New Delhi) and he has been IB Diploma coordinator for 20 years until retiring in 2018. Peter has worked for the IB exam preparation organisation Oxford Study Courses over the past 12 years in Oxford, Cambridge in UK, Boston in US and Sydney and Melbourne in Australia. Peter has written several articles for mathematical journals that focus on applications of mathematics in the “real” world and he is particularly interested in differential equations having successfully completed many online courses at MIT, Harvard University, Penn University among others.

Peter majored in Applied Mathematics at honours level at Adelaide University in the 1970’s while he has also gained a Masters of International Education at Stockholm University in 2002.

Jack McRobert

Jack McRobert is a DP Mathematics teacher from the UK, with a degree in Maths from the University of Bristol. He has many years experience teaching all levels of IB Maths. He has taught in the UK, in an International School in Italy, and now is the Head of Department in one the top IB schools in Africa.

Jeffrey Lockshin

Jeffrey has been teaching A level, IB and university math for more than 20 years. In addition to his first degree in chemical engineering, Jeffrey also holds a Diploma for graduates in Economics and a Masters in educational research from the University of London. He is currently teaching math at an IB school in Moscow.

Paula Rowlands

Paula has been a mathematics teacher for 20 years, focussing on the IB syllabi since 2007, she has been mathematics head of department in two IB schools and is currently at an IB school in Switzerland. She has been a member of the OSC DP mathematics revision team since 2010, an A Level/IGCSE/IB examiner, and a content writer for the Pearson MYP mathematics series. Paula graduated with a degree in mathematics and chemistry and completed a PhD combining the two subjects. An early career in research and MSc / PhD project supervision prepared her well for the demands of the Extended Essay and the Mathematics IA. Paula loves to write tasks that reveal the connections between mathematics concepts, and how these concepts connect to other subject areas.

Taylan Celtik

Having spent two decades in Istanbul, Turkey, working in various IB schools, Taylan recently relocated to Europe and is now Head of mathematics at one of the top IB schools. His greatest passion is developing lesson materials that inspire students and teachers to love mathematics even more and tie it to real-world applications. He also enjoys assisting pupils in improving their mathematical essay writing skills, hence improving their IA and EE writing abilities. Taylan is a workshop leader and DP examiner.
