One of the by-products of the Uranium fission process is plutonium which can be used in nuclear weapons. This is one of the reasons Uranium was chosen over alternatives such as Thorium an alternative with many advantages.Although it probably wasn"t very long ago that you covered nuclear power, it"s probably worth doing a thorough revision of BE etc. This is a core concept that is important to understand.
