Evaluating theories

Starting off the course in psychology is a lot about vocabulary. I have learned the hard way that often we take for granted that students understand the most basic vocabulary. This lesson looks at the meaning of "a theory" and how we evaluate theories. It is also where I do a bit of Freud. I am no fan of Freud, but he is one of the "founding fathers" of psychology. His theories also led to a strong reaction in psychology...
