- Hello SunKyung, At 25 oC, [H+(aq)] from water = 1.00 x 10-7 mol dm-3 so 1.00 x 10-9 mol dm-3 HCl(aq) will have virtually no effect on the concentration of H+(aq) in the aqueous solution so pH = very slightly less than 7.
