- Hello Pete, If you look at the assessment criteria for Research and Design (p78 in the guide) it states "... include a concise description of the system in which the research question is embedded, and include background theory of direct relevance."...
- Hi Geoff, Question regarding background information - in your interpretation of the new IA criteria, does background information belong more in the Research Design section, or more the Conclusion section? The language has changed...

- Yes, Andrew - you are correct. A mole is an SI base unit and is defined as exactly 6.02214076 × 1023 elementary entities . In the Guide under S1.4.1 it states "One mole contains exactly the number of elementary entities given by the Avogadro...
