Figure and Animal Drawing

Drawing the human figure teaches so much about looking. If your school will allow it, hold a weekly figure drawing session, during class or after school. If you don"t have a model, the students can take turns posing, and clothed is just fine. Here are my basic guidelines for a figure drawing session:Charcoal or Ink and Brush , water and big soft brushes, large cheap paper like newsprint (even newspaper would do).
