Do you happen to have any examples of SL student work in this category? I have 6 SL students who are struggling to figure out what they need to submit for this section of the course.

Good point Brian, I dont have any SL examples yet but am hoping i will soon! It wont look too different from HL however, just less work overall.

Dear Heather,
I was a bit disappointed with the evaluation one of my HL student, who made a great progress over two years of IB Art, especially in artistic thinking and a process of art
making. She was rated 6 for CS, but only 4 for the Exhibition, although she made really personal and meaningful art exhibition. And that is what I miss on this website - to show some not so succesfull projects in your Gallery to avoid the "mistakes". If you want, I can share it with you and the other teachers. I think Art is too subjective to evaluate by grades and hard to judge without student's explanation.

Hi Jana, I am sorry to hear that, and I agree with the subjectivity of art being a problem for giving numerical grades. It was definitely easier when we interviewed the students ourselves as examiners. If you would like to share her work with me I will make a gallery page on the website. Could you include her marks and comments too? and your point of view... I will try to make my own evaluation as well.
