I am pleased to share this fine example of a Standard Level Comparative Study that received 30/30 points! Thanks to Ruby and her teacher Rachel Kirby at at UWC Costa Rica.
How do you discuss Performance art?
This CS focuses on examples of Performance Art, which presents a different set of challenges and vocabulary to address the required CS Assessment criteria. Ruby does this very well, considering the nature of the medium and analyzing qualities such as Movement, Eye contact, Nudity as Formal Qualities. I especially like how she addresses Function and Purpose looking at Desire, Confrontation, Endurance, Voyeurism.
